14-02-2014 Powa weekend door Ayang Rinpoche

Dear friends, dear members of the Rigdzin Community,
Rigdzin Switzerland has the pleasure to announce you the coming of

Ayang Rinpoche
From Friday 14th to Sunday 16th of February 2014
at the Thegchok Ling Centre in Lausanne.

Ayang Rinpoche
Ayang Rinpoche (1942-) was born in a nomadic family in Eastern Tibet and holds both Drikung and Nyingma lineages. Recognized as the wisdom incarnation of Terton Rigzin Chogyal Rinpoche, he is considered a foremost authority on the practices of preparing for death and taking rebirth in the pure buddha-fields.  He gives teachings and empowerments on the practice of Phowa annually in Bodh Gaya, India and throughout the world in Europe, Asia, Australia and North America.

The event
On this exceptional week-end at Thegchok Ling centre, Ayang Rinpoche will give teaching on Phowa.  Because it is taught to be the easiest and swiftest path towards enlightenment, this practice of transference of consciousness is often described as the practice for attaining buddhahood without meditation. In addition to this instruction, Ayang Rinpoche will grant an empowerment of Guru Drakpo, wrathful emanation of Guru Padmasambhava, which is particularly effective for dispelling obstacles.

Everyone knows about Buddhahood through meditation
But I know a path without meditation.

Master Padmasabhava
